ESSIE FOX SPEAKING AT THE V&A...

On Wednesday, June 26th, Essie was invited to speak to a study group at the V&A on the Victorian Music Halls, with a particular emphasis on Wilton's Music Hall - which so inspired the writing of Essie's novel, The Somnambulist.

In the photograph above, Essie is shown on the right, with Kate Bailey - Curator and Producer of V&A exhibitions. Kate also delivered a talk on the Old Bedford Music Hall, with special reference to the work of Sickert - whose paintings are currently on display in a V&A exhibition which is called Sickert and the Three Graces.
