ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 12th Essie will be attending the opening of the new Virginia Water library - a rather fitting watery link with her novel, Elijah's Mermaid. Copies of this book, and also of The Somnambulist will be available on the day to be personally signed by the author.
The library's formal opening will take place at 11am, but other events will be going on from 10am until 1.30pm. If you happen to live in the area, please do come along for a chat. If you don't, then why not take a trip. It is a beautiful part of the world and the Virginia Water Park with its glorious lake and gardens is well worth visiting.
