An Orange Prize fiction debate will take place at 8pm on the evening of Wednesday May 30th in conjunction with Windsor Waterstones and the Windsor library.
At the library in Bachelor's Acre, Essie will join five other panelists - the authors Julie Cohen (Summer of Living Dangerously), Lynne Shepherd (Tom-All-Alones), Nicola May (Working it Out), and Julie-Anne Corrigan, as well as Carol Dixon-Smith of Windsor Waterstone's - each of whom will champion one of the prize's shortlisted books.
There will be wine and refreshments and a chance to join in the discussions, which proved to be very lively last year, and also to win the complete selection of titles which are as follows:
Anne Enright - The Forgotten Waltz
Georgina Harding - Painter of Silence
Madeline Miller - The Song of Achilles
Cynthia Ozick - Foreign Bodies
Ann Patchett - State of Wonder
Esi Edugyan - Half Blood Blues
